Four short poems scrawled May 10th, 1996:

NEVER LIFELESS

I used to be in danger all the time because I
put myself where it wouldn't matter
this stagnant future that I oppose in beating from myself.

RECURSION

I'm in the state that I'm in
the state I'm in is because if I stop
I will be wrong and I don't want any state but being right.

PRACTICALITY

Budda is cold and ceramic. He grins
at my fingers approaching his face
but my penny won't fit in his damn useless mouth.
(I need a new bank)

MANUFACTURING CULTURE

The grasp of big picture is worth less than your neighbor's hand.
Shake them and see what falls out.
MASTER OVER YOUR ENEMIES! POWER BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION!
ALL THE SEX YOU DESIRE! NEVER SET FOOT IN A CLASSROOM!
Mastery is to control what you think.
Why can't you? What's stopping you?
THIS ONE-OF-A-KIND OFFER! BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Throw it down and stand upon it!
It's muffled cries will make you smile.
And as your vision decreases by orders of magnitude,
notice how possible everything is,
how much you can do right here.

(pardon me, but it took about 20 minutes) (that's my excuse)
