North to Alaska - Full Version - Day 23 (June 8)

Tuesday - The kids slept in while M & B went to a visitor center/gift shop to continue buying presents for those less- fortunates who had to stay home (and our ladies who were cat-sitting with Georgi). It was actually crowded in downtown Anchorage so we had to do some hunting for a parking place when we got to the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. The museum was spectacular with three floors of nicely arranged exhibits and short historical films, requiring most of the day to cover. We splurged again, stopping at the Country Kitchen (all-you-can-eat buffet) for dinner on the way back to the RV park, then watched part of a new Alaska video, and did 2 crosswords. We hadn't seen the kids all day but called on their cell-phone at 10 PM to learn that they were parked in front of a deli doing computer stuff, so we zonked.
