Tuesday, May 25 - 9 AM: It was hard to leave here, but we expect to visit again some day. After crossing "Nisutlin Bridge, the longest water span on the Alaskan Highway at 1917 feet," we found an internet connection, bought gasoline ($58.70, Canadian), and 4 AAA batteries plus a loaf of bread for $14.Unfortunately, the museums we wanted to explore were closed because of the holiday week. Then lunch at "Muk-luk Annie's," where we just missed the "All you can eat salad and salmon special," before leaving for Whitehorse (110 miles away). A photo-op at Marsh Lake resulted in Garrett's pictures of what appeared to be a wolf hunting along the shore. In Whitehorse we checked into the Hi Country RV Park and Margaret prepared sausages and salad for dinner.
