Thursday - We explored Haines on a warm day with its beautiful small-boat harbor, historic Fort Seward, and surrounding area. The Sheldon Museum contained native craftwork, pioneer artifacts and gold rush mementos, including an exquisite Chilkat blanket. Before bedtime we made sandwiches to take on the boat taxi and train ride scheduled for the next day.
