That's the direction I'm headed. There's plenty more mountain over the crest of that ridge. The cube of stacked rocks on the left is a platform, assembled halfway up the mountainside. If there ever was a trail to it, the trail must have been destroyed by an avalanche. Perhaps in the early 1900's there was some machinery installed there - a pumping station or a storage locker - but the surface is barren now.
