Waving for the camera. I kept the gloves on for most of the hike, after discovering that air could flow in and cool my arms while they were also shielded from sunburn. The glasses, headphones, and hat never came off at all. Only the tips of my ears were exposed to the sun. I scooped lake-water onto the shoulders of the shirt, and the evaporation effect kept me surprisingly cool. Hooray for hiking!
