The van needed a new coil pack as well as a set of spark plugs. The plugs in the engine turned out to be the ones originally installed at the factory. That makes them nine years old. The original coil pack, visible on the left, appears to have been slammed repeatedly on the edge of a table. Definitely time for a new one.
